Remembering October 7th

October 7 @ 10:00 am - 9:00 pm
Free
Join the St. Louis Kaplan Feldman Holocaust Museum and the Jewish Federation of St. Louis, for a meaningful day of remembrance, reflection, and community as we come together to commemorate October 7.
The Museum is also continuing its important work to preserve the stories and experiences connected to October 7, 2023. As part of this ongoing call for collections, community members are invited to contribute objects, photographs, documents, artwork, correspondence, and personal testimonies that reflect the St. Louis community’s experiences surrounding the October 7 terrorist attacks in Israel and their aftermath. On October 7, 2026, you may bring your items to St. Louis Kaplan Feldman Holocaust Museum between 10am and 3pm to speak with a representative of our Collections staff about a potential donation.

The commemoration will include the reading of the names of October 7 victims from 4:00–6:30 p.m. and will conclude with the St. Louis premiere public screening of the documentary The Bridge from 7:00–9:00 p.m.
Registration is required for the film screening. We strongly encourage all community members to register in advance for The Bridge and reserve their spot for this powerful evening of reflection, remembrance, and connection.
