Dr. Ephraim Kaye, Director of International Seminars, International School for Holocaust Studies at Yad Vashem in Jerusalem, will present a lecture entitled, “the New Anti-Semitism and the Phenomenon of Holocaust Denial- the Challenge to Respond” on Friday, August 3, 1 to 2:30 p.m. The presentation will take place in the Holocaust Museum and Learning Center, Jewish Federation Kopolow Building, 12 Millstone Campus Drive.

In this presentation, Dr. Kaye will define Holocaust denial and its origins, as well as Holocaust revisionism and Holocaust relativism. He will also examine Holocaust “reversal,” employed in the Arab/Muslim world and Western Europe today, with the intent of delegitimizing Israel and/or Zionism. In addition he will discuss strategies for combating this new and virulent form of anti-Semitism.
