A Statement from the St. Louis Kaplan Feldman Holocaust Museum:
The St. Louis Kaplan Feldman Holocaust Museum is outraged by the senseless shooting at Club Q in Colorado Springs over the weekend. Our hearts break for the victims, their families, and all those affected by this horrific tragedy. We are grateful to the individuals and members of law enforcement who bravely stepped in to stop the shooter and prevented further bloodshed.
As a Holocaust Museum, we know what happens when hate remains unchecked. We must stop this deadly cycle of hate. Members of the LGBTQ+ community should feel safe to live their lives without the threat of bias-motivated crime. We stand with the LGBTQ+ community, and all those who condemn such acts of violent hatred.
