A Brief Bio
Frida Steindecker, the daughter of Samuel and Lina Kahn, was born in Dortmund, Germany on December 17, 1898. She left Germany in May 1939 and was a witness to Kristallnacht. Her mother and many members of her extended family were murdered by the Nazis. She worked as a social worker in St. Louis from September 1939 until her retirement.
Frida Steindecker died on September 24, 1992.
