Teacher-Led Exploration
Teacher - Led Exploration
Our teacher-led option allows students to explore the St. Louis Kaplan Feldman Holocaust Museum’s Permanent Holocaust Exhibition under the direction of their classroom teacher. Following a brief introduction from Museum staff, teachers and chaperones are responsible for guiding students through the exhibition, facilitating learning, and supervising student behavior throughout the visit. Time spent in the exhibition is determined by the group
Museum staff will provide orientation and logistical support, and gallery attendants may be present throughout the exhibition to assist with wayfinding and answer occasional questions. However, this option is designed for groups that are comfortable leading their own learning experience, have time restrictions, or have a specific project or worksheet they want to use.
Teacher-led visits are offered based on museum capacity and availability and may not be available on all dates. Groups seeking a more structured educational experience are encouraged to explore our educator-led programs whenever possible.
