Margo Jakob was born Margot Breithecker, the daughter of Reinhold and Elisabeth H. Breithecker, in Puschen, Germany on November 3, 1935. Puschen was a village of between 400-500 families, 4-6 of which were Jewish. She would eventually marry Oskar Jakob, a Jewish Holocaust survivor.
