Our Collections
The St. Louis Kaplan Feldman Holocaust Museum Archives and Collections consists of two main repositories, along with our Research Center. All three are administered by the same staff. However, they have distinct – but interrelated – missions and collecting focuses.
The Holocaust Museum Collection and Archives collects documents and artifacts that tell the stories of individuals and families who perished in the Holocaust; survived the Holocaust; liberated the camps; were witnesses to the Holocaust; and assisted survivors in the greater St. Louis area.
The St. Louis Jewish Community Archives collects documents and artifacts related to the religious, organization, economic, cultural, personal, social, and family life of Jews of the greater St. Louis area.
The Research Center (as the successor entity of the Saul Brodsky Jewish Community Library) provides secondary source research material in the form of books, newspapers, reference material, and other resources that complement the collection scope of the Holocaust Museum Collection and Archives as well as the St. Louis Jewish Community Archives.
